PROFICIENCY CHECKS

Proficiency checks need to be completed every 6 months on the aircraft we want to be flying. This can be an expensive exercise with the cost of fuel and aircraft hiring if done on an aircraft.
At Simuflight we are approved to do your proficiency checks on any of our simulators.

This consists of

  • 1-hour brief
  • 1.5 hours on the simulator
  • 1-hour de-brief
You will also write a technical examination on the aircraft you are doing the check on. After the session has been completed you are issued with a proficiency check certificate that goes into your license and you will be sorted for another 6 months.
